Turnkey Projects

Overview

A turnkey engagement means one studio carries the project from the first conversation to handover: design, drawings, coordination and execution, with a single point of contact throughout.

It suits clients who do not want to manage the seam between a designer and a contractor — the most common place for a project to lose time, money and intent.

What this includes

01

One point of contact

The same people answer for the design and for what is happening on site, so questions do not fall between two parties.

02

Concept to detailed design

The full design sequence — brief, concept, development, detailing — carried through without a handover to a third party in the middle.

03

Coordination of the design package

Architectural, interior, joinery, electrical and plumbing drawings kept consistent with each other.

04

Execution

The work built and supervised against the drawings, with stage checks and a defined handover.

FAQ

Turnkey Projects — questions we are asked

What does turnkey actually include?
Design, drawings, coordination and execution through to handover. The exact scope is agreed in writing at the start, because "turnkey" means different things to different studios.
Is turnkey more expensive than hiring a designer and contractor separately?
Not inherently. What it changes is where responsibility sits: one studio answers for both the design and the build, so coordination problems are ours to solve rather than yours.
